Forward-thinking, multifaceted professional with comprehensive experience in program creation and management, strategic planning and analysis, and political communication.

Joseph is a senior consultant working with domestic and international clients on counter-violent extremism and policy issues. He advises on legal and policy aspects of management campaigns, research and investigation teams, and behavioral change programs.  He has also been a part of the creation of national strategies for preventing violent extremism.  Previous to his current position, Joseph had joined the US Department of State (DOS) as an analyst at the Center for Strategic Counter-Terrorism Communications (CSCC) and the Global Engagement Center (GEC). He launched several special programs, and designed and initiated successful counter-campaign concepts that were lauded by senior officials. In 2016, Joseph became a program officer for the GEC, successfully launching several programs and delivering creative solutions and innovative approaches as lead officer on international messaging centers and interventions concepts. 

Prior to his assignment at the DOS, he worked as a foreign media analyst for a US government contractor in Reston Virginia, and as a Congressional relations officer for the Lebanese Information Center in Washington DC. He is a graduate of L’Institut National de L’Audiovisuel in Paris, France and ALBA of Beirut, Lebanon, and also Notre Dame University in Louaize, Lebanon.
